Plante herbacée, hermaphrodite, érigée à étalée, à tiges cylindriques de 3 à 5 mm de diamètre, glabres, ramifiées.

Feuilles alternes, simples, oblongues à spatulées (les supérieures ovales), gris vert, glauques, embrassantes, sessiles, entières, glabres, ciliées, de 25 à 60 mm de long, de 15 à 25 mm de large, à taches blanches et à petites bosses blanches surmontées d’un poil raide.

Fleurs à symétrie radiaire, jaune pâle, d’environ 7 mm de diamètre, de 15 à 30 mm de long, avec un anneau brun rouge à la base du tube, retombantes, réunies en cymes unipares scorpioïdes de 3 à 8 cm de long. Corolle en tube terminé par 5 lobes minuscules réfléchis vers l’extérieur. 5 sépales verts, libres, ciliés. Étamines non saillantes, attachées au milieu du tube de la corolle, à filet jaune vif et à anthère noire. Style blanc jaune pâle. Ovaire supère.

Fruits, akènes noirs, glabres, lisses, de 4 à 5 mm de diamètre, sphériques avec 1 côté aplati.

Plant herbaceous, hermaphrodite, erect to spread out. Stems cylindrical, from 3 to 5 mm in diameter, glabrous, branched.

Leaves alternate, simple, oblong to spatulate (the higher ones ovate), green grey, glaucous, clasping, sessile, entire, glabrous, ciliate, from 25 to 60 mm long, from 15 to 25 mm across, with white marks and with small white bumps surmounted by a stiff hair.

Flowers radially symmetrical, pale yellow, approximately 7 mm in diameter, from 15 to 30 mm long, with a red brown ring at the base of the tube, hanging down, joined together in uniparous scorpioid cymes from 3 to 8 cm long. Corolla tubular, finished by 5 tiny lobes resupinate towards the outside. 5 green, free, ciliate sepals. Stamens nonprotruding, attached in the middle of the tube of the corolla, with bright yellow filament and with black anther. Style pale yellow white. Ovary superior.

Fruits, black, glabrous, smooth achenes, from 4 to 5 mm in diameter, spherical with 1 flattened side.
